On Sunday morning, the Baheya Foundation had the honor of hosting Dr. Nevine El-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity. She expressed her delight at visiting the Baheya Foundation, noting the strength and hope she felt upon her visit. She extended greetings to the Baheya Hospital family and its founders.

El-Kabbaj highlighted that her visit was part of the ministry's collaboration with civil society and exploring partnership mechanisms. She emphasized the ministry's belief in civil society and its role, particularly focusing on women's health within the framework of its various programs addressing multidimensional poverty and women's health.

She added that the ministry supports approximately 2,500 community leaders and 300,000 educated women receiving cash support through the Takaful program. She called for the implementation of training and awareness programs for these community leaders to raise awareness in villages, stressing the importance of early detection and psychological support to spread awareness across Egypt's villages and marginalized areas.

In the same context, El-Kabbaj praised Baheya's volunteers, stating that society will prosper by promoting the value of volunteering. She emphasized that volunteering will be central and will transform Egypt through its youth. She also conveyed her appreciation to Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, for her efforts during the early detection campaign for breast cancer.

El-Kabbaj urged women to prioritize their health through early detection and to educate neighbors and relatives. She extended special greetings to all cancer fighters and emphasized the importance of awareness for impoverished women who lack knowledge of detection methods, highlighting their urgent need for early detection and psychological support.

During her visit, El-Kabbaj received a presentation on the foundation's history. Dr. Mohamed Fahmy, a board member of the Baheya Foundation, described the foundation as a pioneering non-profit organization that attracts volunteers and continually seeks community partnerships. He emphasized its innovative programs specializing in awareness, early detection, and psychological support using cutting-edge technologies and scientific research.
