At Baheya Foundation, we are deeply committed to raising awareness about the risk of breast cancer. We actively engage in comprehensive awareness campaigns that reach a huge and diverse range of sectors across the Egyptian community.
Our awareness initiatives include:
General awareness campaigns: We organize public awareness campaigns on breast cancer, including informative seminars, held in various entities such as schools, hospitals, shopping malls, companies, and the government and private sector.
Diverse awareness activities: We host a variety of awareness activities, including lectures and seminars, specifically designed to educate women about breast cancer, early detection methods, symptoms, risk factors, coping mechanisms, and the importance of regular self-examinations.
Leveraging social media: Recognizing the power of social media to reach a wider audience, we actively utilize social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter to disseminate information about breast cancer and early detection.
Awareness Seminars: Over the past seven years, Baheya has conducted over 1500 awareness seminars across various Egyptian governates, reaching out to over 60,000 women. We are committed to presenting medical information in a simplified manner, firmly believing that prevention is better than cure and that awareness is the cornerstone of our mission.
