Psychological support was a way to continue the journey

Egypt is a beautiful country and its people are even more beautiful. When I entered Baheya, everyone called me "The Nile Girl" The Fighter Amira Abbas.
From Sudan to Cairo, Amira Abbas - the Nile Girl - came to Baheya in search of a treatment opportunity, as much as she was afraid of the bitter treatment journey, Baheya was a support and not an exception.

Amira said: "I came in the circumstances of my illness and I was worried and I came to reassure myself after I saw Baheya's advertisements on TV, but believe me, these were the most beautiful periods of my life. Here I met fighters, volunteers, and doctors, everyone was striving to draw a smile on my face. Here I learned about unconditional love up close."

Amira explained that psychological support was a way for her to get the energy to continue the journey, saying: "When I knew that I was going to take chemotherapy, I was afraid, but the psychological support was on my back, and thank God this period passed by safely. The treatment in Baheya is very organized and accurate. I took my chance at treatment without intermediaries or acquaintances. I felt and still feel that I am from this country, there is no difference between me and others."
The Nile Girl concludes her speech: "It is also a happy coincidence that my daughter took a vacation and came to Egypt to see me for treatment and married an Egyptian and we live here."
