A host of media personalities who have long supported Baheya’s mission also attended, including TV presenters Doaa Farouk, Eman Riad, and Dina Amer, while renowned TV host Rami Radwan presented the event.
One of the highlights of the night was the launch of a fundraising campaign, aiming to raise 100 million by the end of Ramadan to further support Baheya’s mission, a new milestone in the hospital’s decade-long journey of generosity and care.
Eng. Tamer Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Baheya Foundation, expressed his gratitude and pride for the achievements Baheya has accomplished over the past ten years. The hospital has provided more than 5 million medical services, conducted early detection screenings for over half a million women, and offered free treatment to more than 23,000 women.
Additionally, Baheya has raised awareness across the country, educating over 75,000 women about the importance of early breast cancer detection. He emphasized that these accomplishments would not have been possible without the support of Baheya’s successful partners and donors from all over.
The celebration wrapped up on a high note with a memorable performance by the legendary El Masreyeen band, led by the iconic musician Hany Shenouda, adding a special touch to the evening. Hosted at the Marriott Mena House with the Pyramids as a backdrop, the event stood as a powerful testament to the love, support, and commitment that continue to drive Baheya forward.
It is worth noting that the Baheya Foundation’s role extends beyond providing early detection services and free breast cancer treatment.
The foundation is also dedicated to spreading awareness about the importance of early detection among women across Egypt through awareness seminars. Moreover, Baheya offers psychological and emotional support to breast cancer warriors through support group sessions, art workshops that teach handicrafts, literacy classes, and comprehensive support for both patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
