What is the importance of physical therapy?

Preventing arm swelling caused by the removal of lymph nodes under the armpit near the affected breast, and treating the swelling if it appears.
Preventing stiffness in the shoulder joint and maintaining the range of motion of the affected arm, especially after surgical procedures.
Reducing pain and nerve inflammation resulting from mastectomy and lymph node cleaning.

When should physical therapy start?

It is preferable to start physical therapy after surgical procedures to avoid the effects.
