iRead Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed at reviving reading in the Arab world, has signed a cooperation protocol with Baheya Foundation for the Early Detection and Free Treatment of Breast Cancer. Under this protocol, iRead Foundation will launch comprehensive libraries within Baheya hospitals containing 200 books from various fields. These libraries will be operated by iRead Foundation and will remain open to Baheya patients for a full year.
iRead Foundation will also support Baheya's libraries by donating between 50% to 100% of the profits from the sales of any book produced by the foundation during the protocol period. These funds will be used to establish other libraries within Baheya hospitals and provide cultural and psychological support to Baheya patients.
Founded in 2018, iRead Foundation aims to build a community connecting readers from all over the Arab world, highlight books in various fields, and contribute to enriching knowledge and educating citizens.
