In a unique humanitarian gesture, media personality Doaa Farouk launched a birthday initiative to support Baheya's fighters. Farouk announced on her official Instagram account, "On 10/10, I will celebrate my birthday at Baheya Zayed, inviting all my prominent media friends, colleagues, family, and foremost my beloved mother Gigi. May God bless her."
Farouk added, "For the first time, I will ask them for a birthday gift. The money they usually spend on a gift for me each year, I want them to bring it and donate it to Baheya. If anyone can't attend, I ask them for the first time to transfer this money to Baheya's account. The amount doesn't matter; what matters is that my gift reaches them."
In response, Baheya Foundation organized a grand celebration at Baheya Sheikh Zayed Hospital to commemorate the initiative and Farouk's birthday, inviting all her fans and supporters of Baheya to attend and participate. The event was attended by a distinguished group of media personalities, artists, and celebrities, including (Islamic preacher Dr. Ashraf El-Feel, media personality Osama Mounir, and media personalities Mofida Shiha, Boussy Shalaby, Sally Shahin, and Lamia Fahmy Abdel Hamid), among other Baheya supporters. Donations reached over 1.3 million Egyptian pounds.
Engineer Tamer Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Baheya Foundation, expressed his appreciation for the initiative, emphasizing its primary goal of supporting Baheya's fighters and providing them with free treatment. He confirmed that Doaa Farouk is a Baheya ambassador and one of the most significant supporters of the foundation and breast cancer fighters since its inception, always coming up with creative ideas to bring joy and happiness to Baheya's fighters.
