أسُس مركز أبحاث بهية في عام 2017 كجزء أساسي من مؤسسة بهية، ومنذ ذلك الحين، أجرى المركز أكثر من 250 دراسة بحثية نشر قرابة الـ٦٠ منهم في مجلات علمية مرموقة، بالإضافة إلى تضمينهم عدد من أطروحات الدكتوراة والماجستير ومشاريع التخرج. تخضع الأبحاث العلمية المقدمة في مركز أبحاث بهية لمراجعة اللجان العلمية والأخلاقية، إذ لا يمكن بدء أي بحث دون الحصول على الموافقات اللازمة، مما يضمن الالتزام بأعلى معايير النزاهة العلمية والسلوك الأخلاقي.
ترتكز مهمتنا على المشاركة الفعالة في الكفاح العالمي ضد سرطان الثدي، وذلك من خلال تحديد الأسباب وتطوير استراتيجيات بحثية مبتكرة للوقاية والتشخيص والعلاج والشفاء، كما يسعى مركز أبحاث بهية إلى أن يصبح أحد أكثر المراكز البحثية المتميزة في أبحاث سرطان الثدي على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي، من خلال المساهمة في حل مشاكل سرطان الثدي عالميًا
تعمل لجنة أخلاقيات البحث العلمي في بهية وفقًا لمبادئ هلسنكي، والمنظمة الإسلامية للعلوم الطبية، ومكتب الولايات المتحدة لحماية البحوث البشرية، وقانون اللوائح الفيدرالية بالولايات المتحدة، مع الالتزام برقم (FWA) FWA00030390 و IRB00012829.
تتعدد المجالات التي يركز عليها مركز أبحاث بهية يجمع بينها الاهتمام بكل ما يتصل بسرطان الثدي، إذ تركز على العديد من جوانب رحلة اكتشاف وعلاج سرطان الثدي كالآتي: -
تمتلك "بهية" رؤية طويلة المدى حول الأهداف الاستراتيجية التي يسعى مركز الأبحاث إلى المضي فيها قدما وتحقيق نجاحات ملموسة على أرض الواقع وهي كالآتي: -
بشكل عام، يلعب مركز أبحاث بهية دورًا حيويًا في تطوير فهم وعلاج سرطان الثدي. ومن خلال أبحاثه وتعاوناته الدقيقة، يقدم المركز مساهمة كبيرة في تحسين حياة النساء في جميع أنحاء العالم.
تأسس مركز الأبحاث في بهية في عام 2017، وتتمثل مهمته في المشاركة في الكفاح العالمي ضد سرطان الثدي من خلال تحديد الأسباب ووضع استراتيجيات بحثية مبتكرة للوقاية من سرطان الثدي وتشخيصه وعلاجه.
أجرى مركز الأبحاث أكثر من 240 دراسة - حتى الآن - تتنوع بين دراسات بحثية ورسائل الدكتوراة والماجستير ومشاريع التخرج، كما تم نشر 55 بحث علمي في مجلات علمية مرموقة.
ويجب الإشارة الى أن جميع الأبحاث تخضع إلى المراجعة العلمية والاخلاقية ولا يتم البدء بمباشرة البحث إلا بعد الحصول على موافقة لجنة الاخلاقيات IRB.
تتمثل مهمة المركز بالمشاركة في المعركة العالمية ضد سرطان الثدي من خلال تحديد أسباب وعوامل خطورة المرض، فضلا عن تطوير استراتيجيات بحثية مبتكرة للوقاية والتشخيص والعلاج والشفاء من سرطان الثدي.
بينما ترتكز رؤيته في أن تكون مركز امتياز في أبحاث سرطان الثدي على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي من خلال المساهمة في حل مشاكل سرطان الثدي على مستوى العالم.
